“An exciting glimpse of where ‘traditional’ folk rock might go.” - Q Magazine

“Dunlop is a storyteller and can build a whole world in a matter of a few minutes” Maverick 2016

Blair Dunlop is delighted to announce a new tour for February 2017. Building on the amazing success of Gilded (album released May 2016) and resulting BBC Radio play listing of the two singles produced by Ed Harcourt (‘The Egoist’ and ‘356’) Blair takes the collection, and other favourites from his 3 album repertoire, out in a simple stripped back fashion. Once again accompanied by his regular musicians JJ Stoney (Keys and vocals) and Fred Claridge (Drums and vocals) with a mission to let the songs speak for themselves. The ReGilded Tour takes the songs from Gilded and lays them bare!

It has been a busy and exciting few months for Blair Dunlop. The singer-songwriter released his third full-length album, ‘Gilded’, to rave reviews and embarked on a UK headline tour. Along with his Glastonbury Festival debut - where he performed on the Acoustic Stage - Blair has had a busy summer on the festival circuit, including appearances at Bluedot, Cornbury and How The Lights Get In. Blair latest single, ‘The
Egoist’ (produced by Ed Harcourt), was play listed on BBC Radio 2 for 4 weeks, as was the second single ‘356’.

“(Gilded) an album that might just be destined to become a classic *****” R2 2016

Blair’s career continues to go from strength to strength. He has won awards, toured all over the UK and overseas, collaborated with a variety of writers and musicians, moved to London and set up his own record label (Gilded Wings Records), all of which have informed, and are reflected in, his mature and astute musical musings. The Guardian described him as “an increasingly adventurous songwriter”, and it rings even truer now. Blair has the confidence and experience to make the music he has always wanted to.
Blair is looking forward to heading to Australia next year for a tour and festival appearances and will be heading over to America later in 2017 for some live dates.
